Privacy Policy for Kept

Overview
Kept is built and maintained by Linus Sewell as a commercial iOS application. This Privacy Policy explains what data Kept collects, how it is used, and the choices you have as a user.

Data Stored on Your Device or Devices
Kept stores the following data locally on your device or devices only:
- Your Tasks, Tags, Logs (and associated comments, images and location data), and any other content you create or upload to Kept ("Kept items")
- App preferences and settings
This data never leaves your device or devices unless you are signed into an Apple Account on your device or devices (see below). It is not transmitted to, or accessible by, Linus Sewell or any other third parties.
iCloud Sync (Optional)
If you use a device or devices signed in with an Apple Account, your Kept items are also stored in your personal iCloud account, to sync between devices. This data is encrypted and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Linus Sewell has no access to data stored in your iCloud account.
Third-Party Services
Kept uses RevenueCat, which anonymously supports transactions within Kept. The RevenueCat Privacy Policy is defined here. RevenueCat may collect data about your purchase history, to ensure functionality whithin Kept. This data is anonymised and cannot be used to identify you.
Aside from RevenueCat, Kept does not use third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs. There are no third-party trackers embedded in the app.
Data Retention and Deletion
All data created by Kept resides on your device or devices and in your iCloud account (if your device or devices are signed in with an Apple Account).
You can delete all app data at any time by deleting the app from your device or devices.
This may still leave data in your iCloud account, which can be erased using the "Erase all data" button within Kept.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
